About Ryder
Ryder is a striking Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler mix living in Seattle, WA. With his sharp merle (red) coat and medium build, he draws eyes quicklyâthough he starts off a bit shy in new situations. Give him a little time and heâll warm up, becoming the lively and playful companion heâs meant to be. Ryderâs an intelligent dog who genuinely wants to please, even if he has a mischievous streak now and then. Heâs had positive experiences with other dogs similar in size and thrives on playtime with canine friends. Cats remain a mystery for him so far. Heâs making solid progress with basic skills and crate training, but does require a sturdy crate. Most importantly, Ryder needs a securely fenced yardâno apartments. He is not suited for homes with young children, and only homes in Western Washington (and maybe northern Oregon) will be considered. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and eagerly waiting for a place to land. Give him the home he deserves. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
