About Cookie
Cookie is a six-year-old English Bulldog who has handled a rough past with remarkable grace. Surrendered to the rescue after years living mostly outdoors, she responded by opening up—trusting, gentle, and so easy to love. Through cherry eye surgery, a spay and cancer removal, and regular bulldog grooming, Cookie has always been patient and good-natured. She enjoys slow mornings, car rides, and quietly lounging near her people. Cookie will need daily attention for her eyes, skin, and the usual bulldog maintenance, but she takes it all in stride. Cookie does best in a home with a fenced yard, minimal stairs, and someone home much of the day. She loves teens and is friendly with calm dogs after slow introductions, though she can get a little jumpy or competitive over toys and food. She’s mostly house trained but might have an accident now and then. She’ll greet you with excitement, lean in for affection, and occasionally show off her goofy zoomies. Not a lap dog, but deeply loyal and sweet—the kind of companion who just wants a safe spot to finally rest. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
