Remy the Pitlet is a 4-year-old female medium dog with a short coat in shades of yellow and white. She is house trained, spayed, and up to date on vaccinations. Living in New York, NY, she embodies affection and warmth, though she requires a special home without children or other pets, as she has some extra needs. She is a true couch potato and full of love, ready to become your loyal companion.

About Remy the Pitlet

Meet Remy the Pitlet. Remy arrived at the shelter in Brooklyn, NY as a stray, nearly hairless and with raw skin. Her knees were painful and in need of attention. After surgery to correct her knees and a special diet to manage her allergies, Remy is ready for a loving home. She thrives in quiet environments like the suburbs or countryside, as bustling areas tend to overwhelm her. Remy needs time to warm up to new friends but will quickly show her playful side with a little patience. Unfortunately, due to some arousal behaviors, she requires an adult-only home and would do best as the only pet. While she currently interacts with other dogs in her foster home, we believe she will feel safest as your solo companion. Remy may have some special needs, but she has an abundance of love to give. If you have the heart and space for this sweet girl, get in touch to learn more about welcoming her into your life.
