Meet Miss Remy. She arrived at the Brooklyn shelter as a stray, nearly hairless and in rough shape. Her skin was raw, and her knees hurt. Remy has undergone surgery to address her knees and is now on a special diet to help manage her allergies. She’s looking for a home where she can truly thrive. Remy does best in quieter settings, such as the suburbs or the countryside. Like many pets who have faced challenges, she needs slow introductions to new friends. Once she feels comfortable, she’ll be right there, belly up in your lap. An adult-only home is ideal for Remy, preferably as the only pet, as she shows some arousal behaviors. While this might seem like a significant ask, we believe there’s a perfect match out there for her. Remy is a sensitive soul ready to show a special someone an abundance of love; all they need is a comfy lap to curl up in.
