About Pedro

Pedro is a happy, affectionate Labrador Retriever mix who finds joy in the little things—especially food and time spent with those he loves. He lives for walks, car rides, and never turns down a cuddle. Gentle and sweet-natured, Pedro thrives in the company of other dogs and enjoys being part of a family. When he was first rescued, Pedro was discovered on a dirt road with limited mobility and his back legs paralyzed. His rescuer has helped him regain some freedom, and now he zips around using a wheelchair, embracing life with a cheerful spirit. Swimming is a new favorite activity and he's making great progress in the water. Pedro doesn’t let his disability dampen his outlook—he simply adapts. He is currently fostered in La Paz, Mexico, and will make his way to Anacortes, WA when adopted. Click apply to start the adoption process.
