Petie is a young, playful, affectionate, and mischievous dog who loves toys, walks, and playing with other dogs. She was born to a neighborhood dog who has been fed and cared for for years. After being spayed, the plan was to release her again because her foster already had many dogs. But Petie had other ideas - after slipping out one day, she returned that same night, scratching at the door, asking to come back inside. She chose her home with determination and charm. She's the comedian of the house, always initiating play and investigating anything she can reach. Her ideal home includes other dogs, active people, and a yard. She should not live with dominant females or cats. Petie is ready for a family who appreciates her curiosity, sweetness, and joyful energy. This dog is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement.
