Meet Joey, who along with another cat whom we think is his sibling (Rocco) were dumped off on a farm. Sadly this farm has ben used as a dumping ground for unwanted kitties for a long time so the farm owner is constantly needing assistance with trying to trap and move the cats to a shelter. Joey is a good sized fella. When found he was so severely matted he needed professional grooming, so now he sports a lion's cut look. He wears it proudly. he may have a few sore spots near his ears where the mats were removed but he is healing nicely. Joey loves people, loves attention, and is larger than life. he is not a cat you will soon forget. he has a friendly presence and craves attention. joey would be great with any type of adopter; single, couple or family. He just wants to be a part of what you are doing. We are still trying to decide how well joey gets along with other cats. He seems to be fine with other males but is a little dominant with females. If an adopter already has a cat at home, our adoption staff can discuss with you whether Joey would be a good fit. A no cat home for sure, would be ideal for him. Joey has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Joey has an approximate birthdate of 04-02-2024. His adoption fee is $95.
