Meet Ned! His favorite things are getting treats, working on puzzle toys, kongs and busy boxes! He is a sweet and snuggly guy with his people. Ned loves to play and is full of energy, and would make a great companion for a hiker, runner, or just an admirer of the great outdoors. Ned prefers the company of human friends to canine friends but has had some positive interactions with well-matched dogs. He has met a few dogs while in our care, and we have observed that he prefers introductions to be slow and calm, like parallel walks, to give him time to get comfortable before jumping into play. He also seems to prefer dogs with a polite play style that can exist and gently play with him instead of crashing and wrestling. Ned is an eager learner and is looking for a patient adopter who is prepared to do training. He needs some help mastering polite greetings, leash skills, and puppy some basics.
