About Joy

Joy is a volunteer favorite! She has outstanding looks with a shiny black coat that has brown highlights around her face and legs that really make her stand out. And of course she has a striking white blaze on her chest and on the tip of one of her feet. She has those adorable ear tip flops and soft brown eyes. No other dog looks like this beauty. Once you get past her beauty, the real charmer is apparent with her loving personality. Joy just exudes long-lasting happiness and contentment of life. She will play, she will follow you, she will rest at your feet, and curl up in your lap for that treasured one on one time. Joy is treat motivated so additional training should come quickly and easily. She just wants to please and find that spot in a family to call her very own. Notes from her foster: "Joy is a truly a joy in the home! Despite her young age, she is a calm and gentle presence. She is as happy chilling on the couch with people as she is playing with the resident dogs. Even the grumpiest member of the resident pack quickly warmed to Joy. After one pee accident early on, Joy has been reliably housebroken as she emulates the grown-up dogs. Crate training was easy, and she sleeps through the night in her crate. Her foster parents report that she is by far the easiest dog they have ever fostered!"
