About Maggie
Maggie doesn’t let age define her. At 11, her energy is infectious—she’s often seen zooming around the yard, completely immersed in the moment. Maggie landed with the rescue along with her daughter, Sabrina, after their person passed away, and she’s brought a warm, joyful spirit since day one. She slots seamlessly into new situations, settling in quickly and making friends out of everyone she meets. Maggie gets along with kids, other dogs, and even cats. She’s got a touch of arthritis, noticeable mainly on stairs, but still manages to keep up her playful side and appetite for fun. Upon arrival, Maggie dealt with some skin discomfort that left her coat a bit patchy. Some attentive care has turned that around, and her coat is coming back in, revealing a brighter, healthier version of herself. She’s now visibly happier and even more ready to connect. Maggie and Sabrina have never known life apart, and while it’s a lot to ask, the hope is that they get to stick together in their next home. Adopting both means double the companionship and easy-going affection. If you want a dog who embodies joy at any age, Maggie’s ready to prove it. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
