About Maggie
Think you are the one? Submit an application! Maggie may be 11, but no one has told her—she's far too busy zooming around the yard and soaking up every ounce of life. This sweet Northwest Farm Terrier came to RISE Rescue Alliance with her daughter, Sabrina, after the passing of their beloved owner, and she's been a joyful, happy presence ever since. Maggie is the kind of girl who makes life easy: she loves meeting people, does wonderfully with kids, cats, and other dogs, and settles into new places with ease. Though she has a touch of arthritis that slows her on stairs, it doesn't affect her playful and spunky spirit—she still wants to be in the middle of all the fun. Upon arrival, Maggie battled some skin issues that left her a little patchy and uncomfortable, but thanks to loving care and patience, her coat is coming back beautifully and she's clearly thriving. Her transformation is tangible—she looks lighter and is visibly happier, ready for new adventures. Having spent their entire lives together, Maggie and Sabrina would love to stay together. This wonderful, easygoing pair will bring double the affection and companionship to the family lucky enough to welcome them both. If you're searching for a dog who proves that age is just a number—and still has love, joy, and plenty of zoomies left—Maggie is the perfect match. Give them the home they have been waiting for.
