About Buddy Br
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Buddy had a tough start to the summer when he ended up at an emergency clinic needing help after a run-in with a porcupine. Fortunately, the caring staff could see what a wonderful dog he is and made sure he got a second chance. After several procedures to remove quills, Buddy spent the summer recovering and quickly charmed everyone he met with his happy and gentle nature. Throughout his time at the rescue, Buddy has shown that he gets along wonderfully with both large and small dogs, fitting right in with his foster family’s pack. He is described as a sweet, easy-going companion who adores people and is always ready to greet new friends. He can be a bit of a cat chaser but responds well to recall, making him manageable for an attentive owner. Buddy is looking for a calm home where he can lounge on a big dog bed, enjoy some yard time, and be a loving, low-pressure family member. He’d thrive in a household with another mellow dog and would enjoy gentle play with children. All he wants is a family to love and cuddle with—a true gem waiting for a forever home. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
