Finch
AvailableFinch is a male Labrador Retriever/American Bully mix with a large build, currently living in Port Angeles, WA. He has not yet been house trained but is working on potty pads. Finch is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. He is known for his gentle, reserved nature and has been socialized with dogs, cats, livestock, and children. One of his back legs is slightly larger due to a genetic anomaly, which a vet has evaluated and does not expect to cause issues.
About Finch
Finch stands out as the quiet one in his litter—a gentle, shy pup who hangs back until he feels truly safe. He isn’t the first to race up for attention, but if you give him time and patience, he’ll gladly melt into your arms, revealing a surprisingly sweet side. His lineage is a mix of Labrador Retriever and American Bully from his mom; his dad’s breed remains a mystery. One of Finch’s back legs is a little larger due to a rare genetic quirk, but the vet has deemed it a non-issue for his health or mobility. Still, his future home should keep it in mind as he grows. Raised alongside dogs, cats, livestock, and kids, Finch is gaining confidence around the usual household bustle and is getting the hang of potty pads. As he’ll be a large dog, early training is a must, but it needs to be done with a gentle hand and plenty of positive reinforcement. He needs a calm, structured home that will help him gradually find his bravery on his own terms. With the right guidance, Finch will blossom into an especially loyal companion.
