Hi there, I'm Rory, a 40-pound Terrier and Shepherd mix with a big personality and even bigger energy! I'm a spunky, playful guy who absolutely loves meeting new people - friends are everywhere if you ask me! I'm usually zooming around, ready for the next adventure, and chasing a tennis ball is one of my favorite things in the whole world. I'm still young and pretty puppy-like, which means I sometimes forget my manners and might jump up when I get excited, but I'm eager to learn. The good news? I'm a total foodie, so treats make training fun and rewarding for both of us! I'd thrive with an active family that enjoys being on the go and can give me plenty of daily exercise, playtime, and adventures to burn off my energy. I'm a smart boy who needs things to do - puzzle toys, games, and little activities help keep my busy brain happy and prevent me from finding my own entertainment (like exploring the trash if I can reach it!). I may even do best with a slow feeder since I get pretty excited about meals. If I'm left alone without enough stimulation, I can get a little destructive out of boredom, but with structure, enrichment, and lots of love, I'll be an amazing, fun-loving companion who's always ready to make life more exciting. My adoption fee of $225+tax covers the cost of my care and stay here at the humane society. All Pennington County residents must also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at time of adoption.
