I'm Balto, a 52-pound German Shepherd mix with boundless energy and a big appetite! I'm a happy, enthusiastic boy who gets excited about life and is always ready to join you on your next adventure. The quickest way to my heart is definitely through food - treats make me extra motivated and excited to learn! I'm also a great communicator and will happily use my voice to let you know what I need or want, so you'll never have to guess. I love giving affection as much as I enjoy receiving it, and being close to my people makes me the happiest pup around. I thrive on exploring the outdoors and need plenty of space and activity to keep my mind and body busy. While I already know some commands, I'm still learning and will benefit from consistent training and guidance from a patient, active family who can help me become the best boy I can be. With the right balance of exercise, attention, and love, I'll be your loyal, adventurous companion who's always ready to share fun, affection, and excitement wherever life takes us! My adoption fee of $225+tax covers the cost of my care and stay here at the humane society. All Pennington County residents must also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at time of adoption.
