Jefferson arrived in rescue when his previous family could no longer care for him. He has settled into foster care nicely, but truly does prefer to be the only dog in his forever home. His foster mom says: Jefferson is your built-in best friend for everything. He is the definition of happy-go-lucky. This friendly guy loves people (especially older kids!) and brings an easy, joyful energy wherever he goes. If you’re looking for a dog who’s always up for whatever you’re doing, Jefferson is already at the door, ready to tag along. Errands? Adventure! Walk around the block? Adventure! Road trip? Best day ever! He walks beautifully on a leash and rides like a pro in the car, making him the perfect companion for life on the go. Jefferson gets along with other dogs out and about, but when it comes to home life, he prefers to be your one and only. He’s happiest when he doesn’t have to share his space, or his people, so he needs to be an only dog. Jefferson is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heart worm negative, microchipped and has had his teeth cleaned. Jefferson is fostered in the Orlando area and his adoption donation is $375.
