Garfunkel is a 7-year-old neutered male with the sweetest soul and a heart full of curiosity. He’s the kind of dog who finds joy in the little things—sniffing every corner of the yard, stretching his legs in a good run, and keeping a watchful eye on all the interesting creatures that pass by. This handsome boy came from a farm where he was loved, but his strong hunting instincts got the best of him. Chickens proved just a little too tempting, and after a few unfortunate incidents, his family made the difficult decision to rehome him. It’s clear Garfunkel never meant any harm—he was simply following his natural instincts and likely never understood why everything changed. Despite that chapter, Garfunkel remains incredibly sweet and gentle with people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard where he can safely explore, run, and indulge his love of “hunting” lizards, squirrels, and especially birds—without getting into trouble. Garfunkel is looking for someone who understands him, appreciates his playful spirit, and will give him the safe space he needs to be his happiest self. In return, he’ll give you endless affection, companionship, and a lot of entertaining backyard adventures.
