Hi! My name is Katie Bug and I am looking for a forever home. I am an owner surrender to a small rescue after my previous owners decided they no longer wanted me saying I was too high energy ... well, I'm only about 8 months old and still considered a puppy! Lucky for me, a volunteer w/ that rescue contacted BCAA to see if they could help me find a home and they said yes! I appear to be a long-haired chihuahua, maybe mixed with a little bit of dachshund, and currently only weigh a little under 9lbs so best guess would be that I will stay under 15lbs when full grown. While I do love to play and run around and have the typical energy of a puppy, I also love getting attention. I have gotten along with all of the other dogs I have met and even share an XL crate with another small female dog without any issues. I've seen some cats here but haven't come up against any of them (they are actually bigger than me so I'm not messing with them!) so it's unsure how I would get along with them but my foster mom says she can test me if you need. I am doing better and better in my crate about not having any accidents, nor do I bark or tear up any of my bedding but I would prefer to be out and about with you. I'm learning about a leash and I'm told I am a really smart girl so I will be getting that down in no time at all.
