Little Girl is a sweet Chihuahua/Beagle mix who is about 1 year old and weighs 21 pounds. She ended up in an overcrowded shelter as an owner surrender, and the noise and chaos of the shelter environment were very overwhelming for her. She was extremely scared and unsure of everything around her. Now that she is safe in a foster home, Little Girl is starting to relax and learn what it means to feel secure. She is doing great as she settles into a home environment and is beginning to understand that people can be kind and gentle. She is currently working on house and crate training as she learns the routine of being a loved family pet. Little Girl is a very timid dog who needs time to warm up, but with patience and kindness she continues to gain confidence every day. Once she feels safe, her sweet personality starts to shine through. She does well with other dogs and benefits from having calm canine friends around her. After such a scary start, Little Girl deserves a patient and loving home that will give her the time she needs to fully come out of her shell.
