We do not know what breed Lovely is exactly. We were told she is a Pomeranian, but her pointy nose gives schipperke to us. Whatever she is she is 100% true to her name. Lovely is about 12 years old and about 11 pounds of pure love and fluff. She has lived with dogs and cats, but would also be fine being the queen of her castle. She received a dental while she was was here and had nearly all of her teeth removed. So you would have your own "Gummy" Bear if you adopted her! She does do a weird thing with her tongue all the time, but it seems to just be a tic, not anything wrong with her. It may be a habit from having all the sore teeth in her mouth for so long. We think it adds to her charm! This tiny senior is waiting for a lap to call her own. Will it be yours? Open hours are Wednesdays 1:30-6pm, and Saturdays and Sundays 10am-2pm for you to come view our adoptable pets. You can apply for animal at the shelter during our open hours or online by emailing adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org and asking for an application. Adoption fees allow our non-profit to continue to help pets in need. Meet and greets with animals are scheduled after applications have been processed and we’ve determined you are the best fit. We do not operate on a first come, first served basis.
