About Chase
Chase, born in July 2019, is a handsome male German Shepherd with a gentle spirit and surprisingly tender heart for his breed. Loyalty and devotion come naturally to him, especially once he's decided you’re trustworthy—then he’s all in as your devoted shadow. While cautious and a bit aloof until he knows you, Chase blossoms into an affectionate companion who’ll never leave your side. Chase can be anxious and needs a patient family willing to help him build confidence and feel safe. He does best in a home where someone is around most of the day; being left alone for long stretches isn’t his thing. Chase gets along with other dogs, preferring the calmer, submissive types, but he’s perfectly happy as an only dog too. He’s looking for a cat-free household. This boy is bright—he’s mastered sit, lay down, leave it, drop it, shake, and come. He adores his stuffed toys, sleeping with his favorites every night. An ideal home for Chase has a secure 6-foot fence and adults or children over five. Also, as a Cancer, Chase is especially in tune with his family’s emotions and loves to offer comfort. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
