About Arcadia
Arcadia, born in November 2021 (a determined and loyal Scorpio), has overcome parvo and is now a well-adjusted adult German Shepherd Dog in West Richland, WA. He’s a true snuggler and amateur lap dog, bonding deeply with his people and offering steady companionship. Fully housebroken, he can be trusted alone for long stretches. In his foster home, Arcadia stays on the mellow side with other dogs, enjoying their company and joining in for play. He shares space with cats, displaying a keen sense of which ones are playmates and which to leave be. He keeps things lively with games of chase and loves “keep away” during fetch. Walks and car rides are a hit—just brace for a little initial excitement before he settles nicely on leash. He’s both kennel trained and fine with free range indoors, using his kennel for downtime only. Arcadia is protective of his people and, although his bark can be imposing, he just needs patience to warm up and fully reveal his affectionate side. He’ll need a home with a 6-foot fence due to his leaping skills. Help Arcadia find the patient, understanding home he deserves, where his loyalty and loving nature can truly shine. Your new best friend is just one click away.
