About Spy & Cherry Pie
Spy & Cherry Pie are a bonded senior pair who have spent their whole lives together. They lost their previous people and are searching for a warm, loving home to call their own. Both are female cocker spaniels—Cherry Pie is 11.5, all in sleek black with one eye, and Spy is 12.5 with classic black and white fur and is blind. Despite vision loss and some hearing fading, they get around fine, thrive on daily eye drops for glaucoma and cataracts, and handle routines like pros. They are especially motivated by treats, love interactive toys, and light up around people who engage with them. They are gentle, friendly, and easy to have around—housebroken, sleep soundly, great in the car and at the groomer. Spy gives a soft muffled woof, while Cherry Pie hops about when excited. They enjoy time outdoors and would love a securely fenced yard where they can safely explore; leash walks are a work in progress due to their vision, but being outside brings them great joy. Spy & Cherry Pie get along with other dogs, cats, and respectful older children. What they want most is just to be close by—sharing a couch, a bed, or simply lying at your feet. If you're in Cape Coral, FL, and have space in your home and heart, Spy & Cherry Pie are ready for a quiet retirement filled with adoring companionship. Make their twilight years truly special.
