About Lola
Lola is a 4-year-old Husky who brings a bright, playful spirit wherever she lands. Weighing in at about 60 pounds, she’s affectionate and gentle around people of all ages—her enthusiasm for meeting new friends is hard to miss. She loves cuddles and is always ready to lean in for head scratches and kisses. When she’s outside, Lola’s all about running zoomies and keeping pace with her foster sibling, but indoors she knows how to settle down and make herself at home. She has excellent house manners, doesn't need a crate, and has never chewed a shoe or had an accident inside. She relaxes quietly while her foster mom works from home and has proven she can comfortably stay alone for 4–6 hours without any trouble. Lola is fully house trained and already a pro on the leash. Lola needs a home without cats—she’s a bit too interested in chasing them. A fenced yard and a playful male dog companion would make her happiest, but she could do well in a home with an active owner willing to exercise her regularly. She is quiet most of the time, but like any Husky, she might get vocal when excited. Lola must be adopted within an hour of Cary, NC due to the rescue’s veterinarian and adoption process. If you’re looking for a loyal, sweet, and fun-loving Husky, Lola just might be the perfect fit. Click apply to start the adoption process.
