🧡 PYRITE (Male) Born 2/11/26 Pyrite’s journey started with his mama being abandoned under a bridge while pregnant. She was taken to a shelter and gave birth just days later—but thankfully, The Misfit Ranch stepped in to rescue her and all of her puppies, giving them a second chance from day one. Pyrite has been raised in a foster home and is everything you’d want in a puppy—playful, social, and full of personality. He already shows a lot of leadership and confidence. He likes to be in charge of his siblings, is the most active of the group, and is always ready for whatever comes next. His mama is a petite 28 pounds, so we expect Pyrite to be medium-sized when full grown. Onyx (his brother) had DNA testing done, confirming these puppies are purebred heelers (though not AKC registered). Heelers are known for their intelligence, loyalty, and drive, and Pyrite is already showing just how smart he is. With the right guidance, he has the potential to be an incredible adventure buddy once fully vaccinated. He is still very young, and his training and socialization will play a huge role in shaping the dog he becomes. He will need a home that can provide structure, consistency, and outlets for both his mind and energy. A home where someone is present most of the day will set him up for success. Please note: Pyrite will be required to be neutered between 4–6 months of age, and this will be strictly enforced as part of his adoption.
