We think she might be a Border Collie/Heeler mix, but that’s just our best guess—Lucy was found barely hanging on in the streets of Mexico after being hit by a car. Her leg couldn’t be saved, but Lucy absolutely can’t be stopped. The missing leg is the sad part of her story. The amazing part? Lucy doesn’t let it slow her down for even a second. She runs, plays, snuggles, and lives life with a joyful spirit that’s impossible not to fall in love with. Lucy is incredibly sweet and affectionate. She loves kisses, cuddles, and being close to her people. Like many smart herding-type pups, she enjoys having a little purpose and would thrive with training, activities, or adventures with her family. With the right guidance, she’ll fit beautifully into almost any loving home. She gets along with everyone she meets and is both crate trained and appears to be house trained.
