Kernel is one of those dogs that grows on you fast and then suddenly you're wondering how you ever lived without him! He's about 26 pounds and 5.5 years old, with this perfect mix of sweet and slightly spunky. He came to us as a stray, but you'd never guess it now. He settled in quickly and made himself right at home, like he's been waiting for his life to start back up again. He's very people-oriented and happiest when he's near you, just doing whatever you're doing. Not clingy, just present. The kind of dog who follows you from room to room and flops down nearby like, "yeah, this works." And then there's the treats. Kernel is all in on snacks! It's honestly his favorite thing in the world, and he will lock in on you with full focus the second he thinks you might have one. It makes him fun, super trainable, and a little bit goofy in the best way. He has these quick bursts of energy where he'll do his zoomies, get it out of his system, and then go right back to being a chill, easy dog.
