About Dinky

Make their next chapter their best one yet. Dinky is truly one-of-a-kind! This 2-year-old, 18-pound little guy arrived as a stray with an unusually intense tail-chasing habit, which led to an injury requiring a partial tail amputation. Although that sounds dramatic, it was actually a major turning point—now Dinky is calmer, happier, and overflowing with personality! His big, expressive eyes seem to always be full of surprise and hilarity, guaranteed to make you smile. Dinky’s comedic antics and affectionate side are sure to win your heart in no time. Initially, Dinky may be cautious with new faces or situations, but with patience, treats, and gentle encouragement, he quickly warms up. Once comfortable, he becomes a loving, devoted companion who enjoys adventures and cozy cuddle sessions when the day winds down. He has plenty of energy, loves to play, and would thrive in a secure, active home that allows him to explore safely and show off his quirky streak. Dinky gets along well with other dogs, and he’d especially benefit from a family able to provide consistent attention and gentle guidance. Though he lost most of his tail, he hasn’t lost any of his charm or zest for life. Dinky’s quirky, loving nature is ready for a home that sees the beauty in all his unique ways.
