Dog's Name: Pinson (PIN0426ALAFS) Estimated Breed: German Shepherd Dog mix Approximate Age: 2 years Approximate Weight: 8 lbs Currently Living at: Coming Soon Adoption Fee: $400 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Pinson — a tiny survivor with a heart full of quiet hope At just 8 pounds, this young Terrier mix is as cute as can be, but her story is even more powerful than her adorable face. Pinson came from a heartbreaking hoarding situation where over 70 dogs were living together. When their owner became ill and passed away, these pups were given a second chance—and now it's Pinson's turn to find the loving forever home she's always deserved. Pinson is a shy little soul who is still learning that the world can be a safe and kind place. While she may be timid at first, with patience, love, and a calm environment, she will blossom into a devoted companion. One thing that truly helps Pinson feel secure is other dogs. She would do best in a home with a confident canine friend who can show her the ropes and help her build confidence. Having a buddy by her side will make all the difference for this little girl. If you have a soft spot for the shy ones and a heart big enough to help a tiny lady grow into her best self, Pinson is waiting for you. Apply today and be the one to show Pinson what love truly feels like! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
