*PETFINDER INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ANSWERED. PLEASE COMPLETE OUR ADOPTION APPLICATION AFTER READING HIS FULL ADOPTION LISTING. THE ADOPTION APPLICATION IS LOCATED ON OUR WEBSITE: http://www.idogrescue.com/adoption_application **PUPPY ALERT** Meet Loving LeBron-Oklahoma, a male 7 month old Labradoodle puppy, who is in an IDOG foster home in Tulsa, Oklahoma. *Please read ALL the information in LeBron's listing before applying to ensure you understand what he needs to be successful in his new home. *Please complete our adoption application at http://www.idogrescue.com/adoption_application (copy/paste URL into your browser). *If you completed an adoption application in the last 6 months & would like for your application to be considered for him, please email us at rescue@idogdoodlerescue.org. *You must complete our adoption application fully. If you choose not to answer all the questions in the application, your application will not be considered. We will review your application & email you if you made our short list of applicants for him. Please respond within 24 hours if you receive an email from us about making our short list. *You can check the status of his adoption at https://www.idogrescue.com/adopt or any of our social media pages. We will change his status to adopted when he is adopted. *We base our adoption decisions on what is in the best interest of our dogs. Please note our adoption policies are in place for the safety & welfare of our dogs. We are all volunteers & have jobs, families, pets of our own to care for. We do the best that we can to get back to you in a timely manner. We believe in taking time to go through our thorough process to try to match the dog with the best fit for that dog. *You must be approved to adopt him before we will schedule a meet & greet. We do not transport our dogs. *AGE: 7 months old (born September 2025) WEIGHT: 43 lbs. (still has some growing room so he may reach 50+ lbs. as an adult) *FENCE REQUIREMENT: A physical secure fence is preferred. He is a young guy and needs daily exercise and walking to expend his energy. No shock collars or invisible fences will be considered as we do not feel these would set him up for success. *COAT TYPE: right now he has a lower-shedding coat that will need regular brushing and grooming. We aren't sure what his adult coat will be like; it may shed some so adopters should be OK with a coat that may shed some. His coat has black tips to it his color may change some as an adult. His new family should be prepared for the expense ($100) of having him groomed every 8-10 weeks. *ENERGY LEVEL: high puppy energy. He will need high energy daily exercise in the form of walks and playing. *DOGS: full of puppy energy and likes to play hard. He loves other dogs and sometimes can wear them out so likely wouldn’t be a good fit for an older dog. He does well with female dogs around his size. He has been around larger male dogs and likes to assert his dominance with them by trying to hump them; we think this is because he is still intact/not neutered. We think he will be fine as an only dog if his new family ensures his exercise needs are met. *CATS: unknown; he has not been tested around cats. *KIDS: 12+. He is a large dog and hasn’t been around young children so we feel it is best to set him up for success by having him be in a home with older children. He does jump on people to say hi. *CAR: He is hesitant to get in and out but fine once he is in. *CRATE: Yes he sleeps in the crate at night and is crated during the day when his foster family is away. *HOUSE TRAINED: Still in progress. He is a puppy and gets excited and forgets to go outside. He will need a home willing to work with him on house training for full success. *LEASH: LeBron still pulls on the leash but doesn't fight it like a new puppy. He just needs help learning how to walk by your side. *AT VET: great! He did well at the vet and thought everyone was his BFF. *WITH GROOMING: He hasn’t had an official grooming session but he loves to get in the shower; doesn’t yet like the blow dryer though. 🏀🐾 Meet LeBron – Your Future Adventure Buddy! 🐾🏀 LeBron is a 7 month old Labradoodle with energy for days and a personality to match! This playful pup is always ready for action—whether it’s tug-of-war, chasing toys, or enjoying a good bone. If there’s a game to play, LeBron is all in. He was surrendered to IDOG by his owner who didn't have enough space time and attention for him so they asked for IDOG's help in finding him a forever home. Like any young puppy, LeBron needs training and guidance as he grows; he’s eager to learn and happiest when he’s around his people. After playtime, he loves hanging out nearby, soaking up the attention. One of the cutest things about him? His adorably floppy ear that never quite behaves—it gives him the sweetest, most charming look. LeBron would thrive with an active person or family who wants a loyal sidekick for walks, hikes, playtime, and everyday adventures. If you’re looking for a fun-loving companion who will keep life exciting, LeBron might be your perfect match. Adjectives that describe LeBron: *all puppy *energetic *loving *goofy; big clumsy puppy *happy *active *affectionate *sometimes afraid of new things like an inflatable in a yard Activities that he enjoys: **loves chewing on bones **loves playing fetch **tug of war A few ‘needs work’ items for LeBron: -continued work on house training -general obedience The type of home in which we feel LeBron would be most successful: **active family or individual ready to play **kids 12+ **fenced yard **where he isn’t crated/left alone for long periods of time **owner(s) willing to take him to training and continue to work on house training Due to the intense needs of puppies, we are looking for adopters who are experienced dog owners with someone home during the day, so he is provided with human interaction while continuing to work on house & obedience training. We are looking for adopters who understand the training, exercise, and socialization needs of puppies. LeBron is up to date on core vaccines and microchipped. His heartworm and fecal test were negative and he is on heartworm/flea/tick preventives. He will need to be neutered, and his new family must sign a contract stating they will neuter him. IDOG will hold a $200 neuter deposit. The adopter will be required to neuter him by 12 months of age at adopter’s expense. You will need to send the vet receipt to IDOG and we will then refund the deposit. If you fail to get him neutered by 12 months of age per the adoption contract terms, you will be required to return him back to IDOG Rescue. ADOPTION FEE: $650 adoption fee + $200 refundable neuter deposit to be refunded upon proof of neuter by 12 months of age. ADOPTION FEE EXPLANATION: Puppies and highly adoptable dogs have a higher adoption fee to help IDOG cover the vetting and expenses of the other dogs in IDOG whose adoption fees do not cover their expenses. Our expenses are very high these days due to increased vetting expenses, board and train costs, medical/health issues and surgery that is needed for some of our dogs. IDOG relies heavily on donations to bridge the gap between our adoption fees and our expenses. Unfortunately, donations are down across the board for all rescues.
