Rigo is a young, small male Catahoula Leopard Dog currently in Tucson, AZ. He is neutered and gets along well with other dogs, cats, and children. While he’s still working on being fully house trained, his eagerness to learn and affectionate nature stand out.

About Rigo

Rigo makes an instant impression. There’s a warm, silly spark about him that you pick up on within minutes. He’s full of puppy antics—goofy, affectionate, and just grateful for time with people—but he’s also quick on the uptake. Teach him something once, and he’s on it. He’s already learned leash manners, a bit of the basics like "sit," and even reorients himself using his leash with just a little guidance. When it’s time to chill, he settles at your feet or sprawls out for a nap in your arms, soaking up all the cuddles you’ll give. When Rigo’s got energy, he’ll happily entertain himself if you want some space, but he’s always close by, looking up for guidance and ready to try new things. Despite facing some challenges due to his impairments, Rigo puts his trust in people and adapts as he goes. He loves being around humans, clearly enjoys the company of other patient dogs, and responds well to gentle correction. He’s making steady progress on his house training too. Whoever brings Rigo home won’t just gain a dog—they’ll get a companion with heart and a steady dose of joy. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
