About Ollie
This could be the start of something paw-some. Ollie is a bright and handsome 2-year-old Catahoula/Australian Cattle Dog mix who tips the scales at 32 lbs and brings both intelligence and sweetness to his human companions. Potty trained and good with cats, Ollie gets along well with most dogs after slow introductions, but truly comes alive outdoors—he loves hiking, horseback rides, and any adventure that lets him explore the world with his person. At home, Ollie is affectionate and forms strong bonds but has a protective side, so he needs a confident, experienced owner who understands the benefits of structure and positive leadership. With no experience yet around children, an adult-only home is best until he’s had more exposure. While not destructive, Ollie does struggle with separation anxiety when left alone and does best crated securely; he simply misses his people and longs for a consistent routine, plenty of patience, and ongoing training to help him feel at ease. To truly thrive, Ollie would love an active adopter ready for outdoor fun, a secure fenced yard (six feet high a must), and a solid commitment to building his confidence through routine and understanding. He’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to forge a deep connection with someone special. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
