Rigo gets along well with cats and other dogs, showing sociability in playgroup settings. He is not yet house trained but is making great progress, displaying a willingness to learn and adapt.

Rigo is a remarkable young pup seeking a special home. At less than a year old, he faces the world with joy, despite being both deaf and blind. Many would assume that a dog with these sensory challenges might be timid, but not Rigo. He’s enthusiastic, greeting each day and each person he meets with excitement. In a recent foster home, his personality shone through. Rigo is sweet, silly, and eager to learn. It took just minutes for him to pick up how to use his leash to navigate his surroundings, and he’s already learning commands like “sit.” He enjoys chasing after his own tail but knows when to calm down and find comfort between your feet for a quick rest. Rigo thrives on human connection and responds well to encouragement. When unsure, he has a remarkable ability to adapt and try new things. He has gotten along well with other dogs and seems to enjoy their company. His future family should be ready for a dedicated training journey since he needs to learn touch cues for communication. Fortunately, a volunteer trainer will continue to provide free guidance after adoption. Rigo is truly a special companion waiting to bring joy and love into a caring home.
