Hello! We are a husky mix bonded pair named Spirit and Shadow! We are a mom and son duo! Spirit is the mom who is more senior like compared to Shadow. She has some mobility issues. To help with her mobility issues she gets laser treatment and water treadmill therapy here at the sanctuary. Spirit takes carprofen every 12 hours to help! She is more independent out of the pair. She prefers to lay down and pace around the room. She likes to bark outside. She is a slow eater so she will need some patience with that. Spirit likes to go on short, restricted walks due to her mobility. Shadow is more of the younger active one of the pair. He loves to walk and would make a great hiking buddy! He takes some time to warm up to people especially when he is comfortable in his own space. He does better with females than he does men. He is more cautious with men. Shadow prefers people to be slow with him and give him attention on his own terms. He loves to play with toys sometimes. They both do great with dogs; shadow prefers to be in a controlled meeting so a walk with the dog and Spirit doesn't mind what way she meets them!
