Soraya is a beautiful red and white Siberian Husky with a medium coat who is just starting to experience what a loving home really means. At about three years old, she is adapting to life outside of isolation and learning to trust the people around her, opening up day by day. Soraya finds comfort in a calm, structured environment. She is house trained, settles nicely indoors, and rests quietly when crated or relaxing on her bed. Chew toys and stuffed animals are her go-to, and she handles moderate crate time without fuss. Routine helps her thrive, and she doesn't show destructive habits as long as she’s got supervision. Soraya is most at ease around dogs her size. With the right canine companion, she blossoms—playful, curious, and truly herself. She does wonderfully with friendly, confident dogs but isn’t suitable for homes with cats or smaller dogs. When she trusts you, Soraya is affectionate and loyal, showing her gentle side with scratches and quiet attention. She would do best in a home without young children or lots of visitors, as too much chaos overwhelms her. A secure 6-foot privacy fence is a must, and her adopter needs to be cautious, since Soraya is considered a flight risk if off-leash. She’s currently being treated for heartworm and is still working on her leash skills and basic manners. Soraya’s adopter should understand shy dogs and have patience to help her continue growing.
