Leano is a cute 6-month old female Polydactyl/Tabby kitten who was brought to the safety of our shelter on March 22, 2026 by a Good Samaritan who found her on Second Street in Marietta Ohio near a high-traffic street. This little sweetheart has a brown tabby short-haired coat with a triangular patch of white on her chest, white paws with extra toes on her front paws, a long ringed tail, and an adorable face with pale golden eyes, a brown velvet nose, and long white whiskers. Leano was understandably a bit nervous when she first arrived and found herself in a small cage and, like many cats, she took refuge in her litterbox which became her safe haven. Within a few days, Leano had begun to relax and realized that she was in a good place with compassionate ladies who already loved her. Leano was given vaccinations and Pyrantel dewormer on March 27, 2026. She weighed 5.3 lbs that day. These photos of Leano were taken on March 31, 2026 after she was moved to The Jungle Room where the majority of our adoptable cats are housed. Leano was 'cool, calm, and collected' and made direct eye contact with the camera. This little beauty is good with other cats and children. We don't know yet how Leano feels about doggie friends. Since Leano was not reclaimed, she will be spayed in the near future and will soon be ready to find a fabulous home of her very own.
