Daphne is a beautiful 2-year old female Dilute Calico kitty who was brought to the HSOV on March 13, 2026 by a Good Samaritan who found her on Franklin Street in Marietta Ohio. Daphne was not wearing a collar, and she was not microchipped. This little sweetheart has a gray/beige/white short smooth coat in a dilute calico pattern, a long tail, and a pretty face with golden eyes, a pink nose, and long white whiskers. Daphne has a super-sweet personality and has a quiet, gentle disposition. Daphne was given vaccinations and Pyrantel dewormer on March 17, 2026. She weighed 9.1 lbs that day. Daphne is good with her people friends and other cats. She is currently sharing a large cat tower with another kitty Saline (a spayed gray tabby) who needed a new best friend. Saline was surrendered by her owner and was very nervous, so Daphne has been giving Saline the comfort/security that she so desperately needed. Surprisingly nobody called or came looking for Daphne. She has already been spayed, so she could leave our shelter with her new family quickly with an approved HSOV adoption application. We hope that a family or individual will consider adopting Daphne and precious Saline together.
