About Mr. Peabody
Mr. Peabody is a social, people-focused dog with a real soft spot for women. He comes alive around people and is especially loyal to the women he meets. With men, he tends to hang back until he feels comfortable, but a bit of patience helps him show his affectionate, playful side. Life brought him back to the shelter after having known a home, but he hasn't let that dull his spirit or hope for a new family. He’s gentle during handling—never any aggression at the vet—and does well with children eight and up. Mr. Peabody is honest about his quirks: cats are way too tempting for him, and he needs slow intros with new dogs. Shelter life has ratcheted up his stress and made him selective about dog friends, so he may be happiest as the solo pet. He wants an active home, ready for plenty of play, tackling adventures, and helping him grow. With the right support, his loyalty and energy deliver a one-of-a-kind companion. Mr. Peabody is dreaming of a family that’ll give him just one chance. Ready to make it official? Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
