Rico is a sweet senior Pit Bull Terrier who shares a strong bond with his brother, King. They were found together in Central Florida, showing the kind of loyalty that only siblings possess. After being rescued by H.A.L.O., these boys are ready for a loving forever home where they can enjoy life together. Rico is housebroken and adores affection. Both brothers prefer a calm environment and would thrive in a quiet home. They don’t get along with cats but have shown they can be great companions for other dogs and respectful children. While Rico does have some stiffness in his joints typical for seniors, daily supplements help him stay comfortable. Recently, a couple of lumps were removed during his vet exam, and we’re awaiting the biopsy results. However, the vet deemed a growth from his gums benign.
