Hi there, I’m Morris! I’m a 10-year-old Maltese boy who just got a fresh start — rescued from a local shelter and given a much-needed makeover. My fur was shaved down due to some serious matting, but it’s already growing back beautifully. I am the sweetest little love bug! adore people, get along wonderfully with other dogs, and ride like a champ in the car. I have not met any cats or kids yet but with my gentle demeanor I might be ok with both (need to meet first). I sleep soundly in my dog bed and have a calm, easygoing nature that makes me a joy to have around. A few things my foster family wants you to know: I’m still working on my housebreaking — I’ll do my business outside if you take me there, so I just need a patient person to help me build that routine. I also have some eye issues that require regular cleaning, but my foster mom is hopeful that the right meds and a good diet will have me looking bright-eyed in no time.
