About Ursula Special Needs
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Ursula is a striking 7-year-old female Great Dane with a gorgeous white coat and a charming black beauty mark on her face, searching for a compassionate forever home. She recently underwent a tail amputation due to 'happy tail' and needed specialized veterinary care that her previous owners couldn't provide. Ursula is deaf, which makes her unique, and she’s thriving thanks to training with hand signals—she currently understands signs for 'Come' and 'Outside.' Her foster family is dedicated to helping her learn even more hand signals. She is gentle, trustworthy when given free roam, and is used to being allowed on the furniture, although she’s not a fan of car rides. Ursula gets along beautifully with other dogs and is wonderful with children, having lived comfortably alongside two pit bulls and a 2-year-old child in her previous home. She’s searching for a loving, experienced family ready to offer her a peaceful retirement and the understanding she deserves. Did you know Ursula is an Aries? Aries dogs are often courageous and resilient—perfect qualities for a gentle giant ready for her next chapter. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
