Although she may not be a redhead, she is still one of America's favorite girls. Meet Reba, the 5 year old, European bred, merle Great Dane. She is a BIG lady, not only tall, but weighing in at 170 lbs. She has been an extremely loved and valued companion her entire life, and it was with great sadness her family had to make the difficult choice to find her a bonus family. This stunning merle lady will be such an easy addition to the right family. She is house-trained, crate-trained, and trustworthy with free roam. She knows all her basic commands. She absolutely loves people, although she can be a little shy towards men initially. Her current foster home has large parrots, a cat and dogs of all sizes, which she does great with. At times she needs to be reminded that the cat does not in fact want to play with her. She is a distinguished lady who prefers napping on the couch and just being close to her humans. She likes to be "in charge" with all her house siblings but she's all talk and prefers to boss them from the comfort of her seat on the couch. She does love the company of her canine siblings and would like to have one in her home. Full disclosure with that gorgeous face and all those jowls, Reba is a pretty good drooler and will absolutely add some decorations to your home. Reba's foster family says that this lady would be the absolute best first Dane for a family. She also adores children and wouldn't mind having a few of those as well. She is loyal, loving and calm. She previously lived on 10 fenced acres so walking on a leash is not her strongest attribute but she is trying her best to figure it out! She would prefer to have a fenced in backyard, as that is what she has always been used to and she absolutely loves just basking in the sun on the deck.
