Joseph Jose can be a bit shy with new faces and spaces and appreciates some extra time to build trust. Once he feels comfortable, he blossoms into a sweet, shy companion. This pup can take a while to warm up, so it would be best if he went to a patient home with a quiet environment. Because of Joseph Jose's shy nature, he may thrive best in a lower-traffic household without children under the age of 10. Joseph Jose has shown discomfort with certain types of handling and will benefit from a home where his boundaries can be respected. He will also need to go home in a crate, as he will not be comfortable with being picked up or held to get into the car to go home. For this reason, it would be ideal if his new home had a yard/patio or dedicated space set aside for him to potty until he feels comfortable enough to go on walks.
