I am a quiet, gentle lady who was very overwhelmed by shelter life at first. I came in underweight with sparse hair but am slowly improving. Lucille is very house-trained, rarely makes noise, and prefers calm environments. She spends most of her time resting in her kennel and doesn’t jump or bark like the other dogs—she’ll usually just stand and watch, occasionally barking. She enjoys going out with the adult dog group and will play a little, but prefers calmer interactions and doesn’t like dogs in her space when she’s resting. She is not very fearful of people anymore but will still need a patient, gentle home to continue building confidence. She is a sweet girl who just needs a chance outside of the shelter.
