I’m a lovable hound dog with a sweet and cuddly side that might surprise you. I absolutely adore other dogs—I’m happy to play or just hang out and coexist, and I do great in a large play group here at the shelter. I’m good on a leash, take treats gently, and am mostly house trained. I also enjoy toys and will happily chase them around or settle in to chew on one. I can bark when I get bored here at the shelter, but for the most part I’m not overly vocal. While I’d thrive in a dog-friendly home, I would need quite a bit of work to live safely with cats. If you’re looking for a friendly, affectionate companion who loves other dogs and enjoys both playtime and cuddle time, I could be the perfect fit!
