Meet Cinder Approx. 3 years old ~45lbs German Shepherd mix (best guess) Cinder is settling into foster care after her world recently changed. She was a devoted mama whose puppies we helped place, and now she's getting her turn. After we helped place her puppies and covered her spay, Cinder remained with her owner. Months later, due to a change in circumstances, she came into our program and is now looking for a home of her own. She appears to be a German Shepherd mix based on her look and temperament-smart, observant, and tuned in to her people. Her foster reports she has that classic shepherd demeanor: aware of her surroundings, loyal, and already showing how quickly she bonds. Cinder is crate trained, potty trained, and adjusting nicely to a home routine. She's still decompressing and we're learning more about her each day, but so far she's been a steady, easy presence in the home. She's the kind of dog who doesn't need to be flashy-she just quietly fits in and makes herself part of your world. More to come as we get to know her better, but Cinder is off to a really promising start.
