About Valorie
Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Valorie is barely a year old, but she's already shown true bravery in her young life—which is reflected in the special way we spell her name. After suffering two broken legs, Valorie is now fully healed and the veterinarians expect her to enjoy all the running, playing, and jumping any thriving dog deserves. While her past trauma leaves her shy at first, she is learning safety and love every day in her foster home. Valorie adores the company of other dogs and makes fast canine friends, finding comfort and joy in their companionship. Her favorite pastimes include splashing in the creek, playing outside in any weather, and joining you for car rides or snacking on tasty treats. Her energy adapts to yours—from excitement and adventure to relaxation and nap time. Valorie already knows several commands like sit, down, come, kisses, and kennel, and is both house-trained and bell-trained, making her a breeze to care for. She sleeps peacefully in her crate at night. She is gentle with respectful children, thoughtfully protective once she’s comfortable, and appreciates a calm and patient introduction to her new home before meeting many new people. While she is not a candidate for a home with cats, she promises loyalty and love for her forever family. Valorie is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and on all necessary preventatives. Did you know? With a September 9th birthday, Valorie is a Virgo—dogs born under this sign are said to be especially loyal, gentle, and eager to please their loved ones. Ready to fall in love?
