FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Bart! Bart is a 2-year-old, 57 lb Labrador Retriever/Terrier mix who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. This handsome, goofy guy is full of charm, personality, and happy energy! Bart is incredibly sweet, treat-motivated, and eager to learn. He truly wants to please his people and will go far with consistent training and structure. He’s still polishing up his manners and can be a little jumpy and mouthy when excited, so he’ll need a home committed to continuing his basic obedience and helping him channel his enthusiasm in positive ways. This energetic boy needs an active household that can keep up with him and provide a fun, engaged lifestyle. Daily exercise, adventures, and enrichment will be key to helping him thrive. A securely fenced yard is a must, as Bart is athletic and capable of jumping a fence if he’s motivated enough. He does great with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends. He would love another playful dog in the home but could also do well as an only dog with plenty of interaction and activity. Above all, Bart is a huge goofball ~ silly, lovable, and always ready to make you laugh. With the right guidance and an active home, he’s going to be an incredibly loyal and fun companion!
