About Dunn
Dunn is a senior Chinese Crested Dog/Miniature Poodle mix, and if you’re retired or travel by RV, he might be exactly the companion you need. With a gentle spirit and a surprising zest for car rides, Dunn has weathered hardship but keeps a sweet, adaptable nature. After losing his person and living for years in a car, he made it through sorrow and confusion with resilience. Grooming is no problem for him, and his foster says he quickly settles in when structure, routine, and a calm atmosphere surround him. He gets along with both dogs and cats. His age shows mostly in some hearing and vision loss, and he takes heart medication that he’s responded to remarkably well. He’s had dental work and will head to his new home supplied with his current meds and a few “belly bands” for housetraining needs, as patience is required while he adapts. Dunn craves human company and becomes anxious if left alone for long. If you’re home most of the time and have some experience with senior dogs, he’ll reward you with calm, gentle companionship and cheerful indifference to his own health issues. Dunn is neutered, vaccinated, and comes ready for his next adventure—in the car or curled up nearby. His adoption fee is waived; his real requirement is that someone is simply there for him.
