Irish is not one for couch potatoes, so if you prefer a leisurely lifestyle, perhaps swipe left. She arrived at a rural horse property tangled in a chain; whether it was an accident or human error, we don’t know. Alongside her was a lovely pup, later discovered to be part of a litter found nearby. This dynamic girl thrives on attention and enjoys learning new things. Trainers have praised her intelligence and eagerness. Currently, she resides in a foster home with horses and dogs. Although she has faced some challenges with resident dogs, the accommodations are comfortable and well-kept. Irish is energetic and needs an active human companion. Think trail riding, running, or engaging in K9 work where loyalty and commitment are key. With her strong drive, she would shine in agility trials or any activity that captures her spirit. At about 18-24 months and weighing 45 lbs, she’s nearly full-grown and fits nicely into most living spaces. Consistency and leadership are vital for her success; Irish can take charge, and you wouldn't want her redecorating your home. She's crate trained, well-behaved at vet visits, and curious about everything around her. While we can't predict how she’ll do with cats or small children, she likely has a playful spirit and would enjoy older children (ages 10 and up). Irish keeps her space tidy in her barn, which bodes well for potential house training, though leash etiquette is still a work in progress.
