About Skylar
Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Skylar! After spending her first 9 years in a loving home, Skylar experienced a difficult transition when her family became homeless and she no longer received the care she deserved. Thanks to a compassionate Good Samaritan, Skylar found a place of safety and soon came to Lucky Dog Refuge, where she was showered with love and medical attention. During her time with us, Skylar has been spayed, received treatment for a hernia, and is up to date on all her vetting. Following a long history of "happy tail," Skylar also had her tail docked, but she has recovered beautifully and her zest for life is unmistakable. Her sparkling personality now shines—she’s happy, carefree, and ready for her next adventure. Skylar is dog-friendly with proper introductions, and she would thrive in a supportive home environment that continues to guide her to success. She has lived with children and is reported to do well with cats. If you’re seeking a resilient, loving, and joyful companion, Skylar may be the perfect addition to your family. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
