Meet Skylar 🐾 Skylar spent the first 9 years of her life in a home, but when her family fell on hard times and became homeless, she unfortunately wasn’t receiving the care she deserved. Thankfully, a kindhearted Good Samaritan stepped in and gave her a safe place to land—and reached out to Lucky Dog for help. Since coming into our care, Skylar has received all the love and medical attention she needed. She has been spayed, had a hernia repaired by Dr. Palmisano and the wonderful team at VREC, and is up to date on all appropriate vetting. Due to a long history of untreated “happy tail,” Skylar also had to have her tail docked—but she has healed beautifully. Now, Skylar is thriving. The light is back in her eyes, and her personality shines through—happy, carefree, and full of life. Skylar is dog-friendly with proper introductions and would do well in a home willing to continue setting her up for success.
